Given that I have a nearly-year old child who keeps grabbing my glasses, I've been thinking a lot lately about getting contacts again. Given this post's title, I think you know what I've decided.
Eye exams are free under Medicare. Our private health cover pays up to $68 for a month's supply of lenses. So I could get it all done at absolutely no cost to me, save for the health premiums I'm already paying (which is already saving us $36 every two months just on chiropractic care).
So yep, tomorrow I'll arrange a Saturday eye exam, maybe I could even get in to have it done tomorrow if there's an opening, but we'll see.
