Walking past the seasonal area in K-Mart this morning - and of course the next major holiday here is Christmas, because most Aussies don't take any notice of Halloween - I saw all the artificial Christmas trees on display. They had the normal green ones, and some white ones, and even a hot pink one. But the hot pink one wasn't the most disturbing, believe it or not. No, the most disturbing tree on display there was an upside down PURPLE tree. Oh, and if you didn't want purple, they had a standard upside down green one too.

One has to wonder what recreational substances were at work when they came up with those....
