Just in case anyone actually cares what I think of movies, here's what I've thought of the ones we've seen recently.

X-Men: The Last Stand It was good right up till the end where cough killed *ahem*. 8/10

The Avengers Second time I've seen it. I think I enjoyed it more this time than the first time. 7/10

Looney Toons: Back in Action Funny in places, and lots of cameos, oh, and a big Wal Mart plug. 6/10

The Brothers Grimm Nearly the entire way through the movie I was thinking "Just get ON with it already!" And killing kittens never goes down well with me. 4/10

Fun With Dick & Jane Jim Carrey being Jim Carrey. Some very funny moments. 7/10

Superman Returns Another "get on with it already" movie. Not much action for a so-called action movie. But if you like the "what it's like to be a super hero" movies, you'll like it. 5/10

Pirates of the Carribean: The Curse of the Black Pearl Watched it in preparation for seeing the sequel on Tuesday night, when they only charge half price. Lots of good lines, great characters, great story. 9/10

The Legend of Zorro I pretty much knew the whole rest of the movie was a set-up after Elena got cornered by those two guys. But it made for a good story, and the bad guys got theirs in the end, and they all lived happily ever after. The end. 7/10

The Corpse Bride This was the first time I'd seen any of Tim Burton's animation, and I was a little disappointed it was so short. I was expecting at least one more scene. Anyway, it was another good story, one where halfway through you really have no idea how it'll turn out. 7/10
